This love story is fiction, but nearly every word that comes out of my mouth is based in truth from my real life.  The good, the bad and the ugly.

Not our first rodeo...

A.J. is the only actor in this show I've actually had the pleasure of sharing a stage with before!  We were on the same house sketch team at iO West (Octopus City - pictured here), directed by comedic genius John Druska.

The first romcom I ever saw was Only You, starring Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey Jr.  I saw it in the movie theatre with my mom in 1994 and...well...it was love at first sight.  

​Fast forward a couple decades and it would not be surprising to catch me and my best friend snuggled up to Love Actually in the summer time, quoting every single line.  

Fun Fact

I went to Casino College and was a Texas Hold'em tournament champion at Pechanga (against 395 people).  

​I owe my love of card games to my Grandma Fraga (pictured here).  

But the card game featured in this scene...Fuck the Dealer?  I have UCSD to thank for that one.  If you haven't played, I highly recommend.  Talk to me after the show for the rules.  It's super easy.
I wrote this scene very selfishly.  So I could live out my dream of starring in my very own romcom.  (Although admittedly I feel like I've been living in a real life romcom since this brown eyed American actress met a blue eyed Greek physicist on the beach on the 4th of July.)
