ANASTASIA SANTIAGO
This is the only scene I can't take credit for creatively.  It's actually derived straight from 2 sets of my favorite procedural sides that I mashed up, rewrote, and added my own colors to...

The character is inspired by Elsbeth Tascione from The Good Wife and The Good Fight, played brilliantly by Carrie Preston.

You see various versions of the analytically brilliant/socially awkward gal in almost every network drama.  It's the type of role I absolutely see myself playing on the small screen and I'm so excited to bring it to the stage for you tonight.

I got a Teddy Ruxpin for Christmas in 1986 while visiting my grandparents in Kenosha, Wisconsin (pictured here).

Anastasia's wardrobe is a nod to Mary Richards' iconic looks as she romps around Minneapolis in the opening credits/theme song of The Mary Tyler Moore Show.
