More details to follow...  It's not every day you book a recurring role on your favorite show on television! Angela is overjoyed to play Gretch, Kate's (Chrissy Metz) friend on NBC's THIS IS US.  Angela is set to play Ms. Carter, a crunchy art teacher, in Season 2 of the College Humor series Precious Plum: See Plum Run!  Angela just wrapped 5 days Guest Starring as Paige Burrell opposite Darrell Hammond in a special episode of CRIMINAL MINDS, written by Karen Maser and directed by Aisha Tyler.  Angela is thrilled to have been cast in the newest house sketch team on the iO West Main Stage, directed/coached by John Druska. Don't miss OCTOPUS CITY every 3rd Sunday of the month at 7:30pm!  Angela was thrilled to join the HisPanic Attack ensemble for a few nights of sketch comedy at Second City Hollywood!  Angela will kick off 2017 on the set of TOP RAMEN, a poignant film from Rebecca Hertz, cast by Amanda Lenker Doyle and Chrissy Fiorilli-Ellington. Angela is set to play Annie, a conflicted mother who was once proud of her looks/body and is now angry with her new role as housewife to a husband who doesn't bring home the kind of money she thinks she deserves.
Angela received a direct offer for the starring role in CROSSROADS, a beautifully written short film from USC MFA student Seth Koury. Angela will play Delilah, a recently separated working mother trying to maintain the household in the new status quo.
Nothing better than working on one of your favorite shows on television! Angela will appear on an episode of Jane The Virgin, airing December 12th on the CW.  Angela is thrilled to return to primetime as she joins the cast of Code Black in its second season, playing a friendly, seasoned Nurse in the Post-Op Ward. Season premieres Wednesday, September 28th at 10/9C on CBS. 
Angela will appear in season two of HBO's critically acclaimed hit series True Detective. This marks Angela's third appearance on HBO is just six months. She recently played a White House Staffer on the final season of The Newsroom and a Nurse on the first two seasons of Getting On.  Angela recently performed in a staged reading of Data Breach, an original screenplay by Mark J. McLaughlin about an ambitious Secret Service Agent who earns redemption while struggling to recover the President’s stolen data. In addition to playing the role of ambitious White House Agent Riley Birch, Angela switched gears to also read for Lena, a young immigrant dancer at the Kitty Play Club.
It was a good night for Angela Fornero, who lit up HBO's Sunday night block, appearing on Aaron Sorkin's The Newsroom followed by sophomore comedy Getting On. Angela played a White House Staffer enamored with Will McAvoy (Jeff Daniels) on The Newsroom and reprised her role as a Nurse for a second season on Getting On (from the creators of Big Love).   The Newsroom comes from the mind of Aaron Sorkin (The West Wing, Sports Night, The Social Network) and takes a behind-the-scenes look at the people who make a nightly cable-news program.
Angela teamed up with filmmakers Jason Gullifer and Jeremy Gerke to shoot four unique comedy scenes on location throughout the LA/OC area.
Angela was selected by Executive Producers Mark V. Olsen and Will Scheffer to play the only featured nurse alongside Alex Borstein and Niecy Nash in HBO's new comedy, Getting On. A U.S. version of the award-winning BBC medical show of the same name, HBO’s Getting On also stars Laurie Metcalf.  Angela was thrilled to sit in as the latest guest on Sam Proof's Comedy Crack Podcast for CraveOnline!
